Fletcher and the Hendersons, the magical tale of a young heroine's search for her missing father, is a picture-book listening experience. The book integrates imaginative songs by the indie rock band Sea of Trees, a whimsical story by Dylan Palazzo, and charming illustrations by artist Nancy Palazzo

On the advice of a friendly ghost named Fletcher, young Florence becomes a helicopter pilot determined to reunite her family. Songs on the accompanying CD propel the narrative and also express Florence's innermost feelings.

Sea of Trees has performed across the Capital District and in New York City, often utilizing other art forms like dance, costumes, crafts and theatrics in concert with itslive performances to enhance the sprawling, dynamic nature of itswork. The band's debut full-length album, Animal Sounds, earned it “The Best New Band of 2009″ in Albany’s alternative weekly Metroland.
